About me

Growing up in regional NSW, I have become passionate about telling stories from those voices we don't often hear from, because every story is worth hearing.

I have a keen interest in all formats of storytelling such as audio, video and writing, of which I aim to further develop throughout my career.

As a journalistI believe ethical behaviour and understanding people's situations are key to writing valuable stories that communities will engage with. I am also a big advocate for rural and regional news and bringing news back to local communities.

During my time at university I've had a range of experience such as internships at The Canberra Times and 2CA, volunteer work at 1RPH radio station and university clubs, as well as experience in publishing and writing stories through various outlets. These experiences have helped me develop strong time management skills, steadfast writing and audio/video editing skills and a broader understanding of how we can tell stories to make a difference.
